Cleaning solutions

Cleaning solutions, sometimes also called surface cleaners, can be used to remove dirt on the contact lens surface; for example deposits and traces of make-up. While carefully rubbing the contact lens between the fingertips, the cleaning solution removes fat and protein residues. Some solutions are also able to remove large pieces of residue from the contact lens. However, it is extremely important that no cleaner comes into contact with the eye itself. Cleaning solutions are especially important for rigid contact lenses, as they collect deposits on their surface. Depending on the type of contact lens, the cleaner itself and the intensity of the deposits, daily or weekly surface cleaning is suggested. All surface solutions can be used daily. The usage is really simple, as the deposits can be removed easily. Please consider cleaning the contact lens with saline solution after using a cleaning solution.
