Johnson & Johnson have launched the new Acuvue Oasys 1 Day disposable lenses complete with a new technology which keeps your eyes moist throughout the entire day. These daily disposable lenses are manufactured with HydraLuxe technology which supplies your eyes with moisture as well as preventing tiredness and dryness of the eyes. Thanks to the Hydraluxe technology the Acuvue Oasys 1-Day lenses contain molecules which are similar to your natural tears. The moisturising substance is incorporated directly into the lens material, thus increasing the amount and effectiveness of the moisturisation. The molecules also work with your natural tear film to make the wearing of contact lenses a pleasant and healthy experience. Acuvue Oasys 1 Day lenses have prioritised your comfort when wearing the lenses; they are also extremely easy to insert and remove. The ultra-smooth surface of the silicone hydrogel of the lens also enables you to blink without problems the whole day through; at the same time the integrated class 1 UV protection guards the cornea and the inner eye against harmful UV radiation. The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea against harmful UV radiation. However, the contact lenses do not cover the entire eyeball. The eyes therefore also need to be protected with sunglasses with a UV filter.
