Make-Up and Contact Lenses
You want to catch somebody’s eye at a party? Then don’t forget the most important part: smokey eyes. With care, it is possible to apply tempting eye make-up even if you wear contact lenses. When creating smokey eyes, it is important that kajal pencils, eye shadow, and mascara don’t mix. Always put in your contact lenses before using make-up to ensure you don’t smudge your make-up with your contact lens or tear fluid. As usual, clean your hands first and use your index finger to bring the contact lens in front of your cornea. Afterwards use the kajal pencil to apply a thin layer of make-up carefully. Pay attention: because of the vegetable oils, waxes and some colour components found within the kajal pencil, it can react easily with the tear film. Make sure the kajal pencil and the contact lens do not meet. Do not apply make-up on the lid edge, but rather on the lash line. Afterwards you can use black, purple or brown eye shadow, just as you prefer. Finally, the only thing missing is mascara, applied gently from the inside to the outside of the eyelashes.
